Hello! My name is Sarah Duarte. I completed both my
undergraduate and graduate degrees from Arizona State University. I have two
Bachelor's Degrees, Elementary Education and Special Education: Cross Categorical
Specialization. My Master’s Degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with a
Specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis. I am nationally qualified as a
Board Certified Behavior Analyst ®, BCBA ® as well as a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Arizona. I seek to improve the field of ABA
by participating in local organizations. I am currently a member and participate on the Ethics Committee for AZ-ABA.
I began working for Arion Care Solutions, LLC in 2007 as a
Habilitation and Respite Provider. In 2009, I started working for a local
school district as a Special Education Teacher serving children at Title 1
School Sites. I spent five years teaching in a self-contained setting designed
for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. During my Special Education
career, I mentored ASU teacher candidates; I thoroughly enjoy teaching adults
as much as I love working with children.
I look forward to facilitating children and adults in making
socially significant changes to increase quality of life for many years to
come.
